THE RING OF FIRE-A JOHNNY CASH EXPERIENCE
Recommended for ages 13 and over. At the request of the promoter there will be NO INFANTS ALLOWED. This group from Hamilton, Ontario is rapidly becoming known as Canada's favourite tribute to the Man in Black, Johnny Cash. The group under the stewardship of Andy Vickers brings true life to the music and style that made Johnny Cash famous. With the group being younger than most Johnny Cash tribute artist, it is able to bring a unique edge that is attracting the next generation of Johnny Cash lovers and makes even the most mature fan remember foot stomping days gone by. The group's repertoire ranges from Big River, Get Rhythm, Folsom Prison Blues and I Walk the Line, to Hurt, Rusty Cage, and an amazing emotional rendition of Spiritual performed by Andy Vickers. 6 DANCE LESSONS IN 6 WEEKS
Tuesday June 5,12,19 at 3:00 Wednesday June 6,13,20 at 2:00 & 8:00 Thursday June 7, 14,21 at 2:00 & 8:00 Friday June 8,15 at 8:00 Saturday June 23 @ 8:00 Recommended for 16 and older The lifelong search for companionship can serve up many surprises--this time in the unlikely pairing of Lily, an elderly widow living out her retirement in Florida and Michael, the irreverent young dance teacher she hires to break up the monotony of her days. Rocky, humourous, biting and tender, the unlikely friendship takes more dips and turns than a fiery Tango, but will this dance ultimately serve up what's missing for the both of them? Note: High flying emotions and occasional strong language makes this gritty and hilarious play suitable for those who have noticed that the dance-through-life is not always in sync.

STREETS ALIVE! ~ LEACOCK CHAIRS
Celebrating 100 years of Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town A public outdoor art exhibit presented by Streets Alive! Orillia’s Streets Alive! invites artists to submit their applications to participate in an innovative outdoor public art exhibit called Leacock Chairs. The “gallery” will be Orillia’s city streets during the summer of 2012. Artists will be working with incredible hand-crafted metal sculptures modelled after a reading chair owned by Stephen Leacock. This original chair can be seen at the Leacock Museum in Orillia. Artists will transform the chair sculptures into original works of art. The chairs will be unveiled to the public at the Streets Alive! 2012 kickoff event on June 23. People’s Choice voting will open and continue until July 28, when winners will be announced as part of Downtown Orillia’s Leacock Sidewalk Sale event. MID-LIFE - THE CRISIS MUSICAL
Tuesday July 31at 3:00 Tuesday Aug. 7,14,21 at 3:00 Wednesday Aug. 1,8, 15,22 at 2:00 and 8:00 Thursday Aug. 2, 9,16,23 at 2:00 and 8:00 Friday Aug. 3,10,17,24 at 8:00 Saturday Aug. 4,11,18, 25 at 8:00 Think about it! Growing older, your body breaking down, empty nest, divorce, aging parents...It's a laugh riot!...well, actually, it can be, once we learn to laugh at ourselves. Two of our most successful shows, Married Alive, and I Love you, You're Perfect Now Change, had attacked some but not all of mid-life's crises, but neither nailed it so perfectly as does this 2004 hit of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. For anyone who has been dreading forty, has been deafened by a biological alarm clock, rushed into a room and had no idea why they are there, and for those special few of us who's arms are now not long enough to read a menu, this will come home with a crash. This high energy musical features a great score, brilliantly funny lyrics, and heartwarming honesty.

Well it seems the fun doesn't end there, so we had to bring them back. The sequel puts their vows of "for richer or for poorer," and "for better or for worse" to the test, making the expression "till death do we part" take on a whole new meaning. This summer, find the Sexy Laundry duo in a rustic tent by the lake. (LOL at the OOH is honoured to be one of the first two Theatres to present this exciting new Canadian piece, filled with the wityy and pioignant writing you've come to appreciate from Michele Riml).
